His dad, Satvinderpal Singh is a handball mentor and a previous skipper of the Indian handball crew.
He began playing cricket at 5 years old and in 2005, he was enlisted at a club in Patiala to learn cricket.
Anmolpreet Singh got his preparation in cricket at Dhruve Pandove Stadium, Patiala.
He made his T20 debut in 2015 for Punjab against Odisha at Cuttack, Odisha.
