She began her career in the entertainment industry as a model, and while she was modelling, she auditioned for and got her first acting part on the popular programme Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai, which was broadcast on Star Plus. She played the lead character in the show just opposite Angad Hasija, but she left it in 2010, when she decided to pursue acting full-time.
